Blogging for dollars…

Friday the 13th!   Hmmmm…. an excellent time to look for some really great new ‘blogs’ on - what else ‘blogging’.  Anyway, I’ve turned up some excellent new ones, and included them in the Links section.

 I thought I would let you in on them here, just in case you’re looking to do some serious blogging to attract Adsense dollars, or any others.  I do not have much experience in this area, and would prefer that you look at these other sites, they really know their stuff, and there is money to be made in blogging - but again, it all comes down to 1.) Finding a Profitable Niche that you enjoy first. 2.) You really need to be sure it’s profitable, unless your blogging for fun - which is fine too. 3.) Find and setup a good theme in WordPress, as it’s essential to attracting readers.  Some people will do this the faster way by choosing BlogSpot.com, or Blogger.com which will let you setup a free Blog - that’s fine too - but if you really want to get serious, get setup with a hosting company, purchase a domain name, and get WordPress setup.  As far as Hosting companies are concerned - there’s one great one for beginners, and others (I use it myself).  It’s cheap, reliable, and easy to use - you can setup a WordPress Blog with 1 Click - the host: HostGator - check them out - I recommend starting with at least the ‘Baby Croc’ package.

After that you need to get setup for Adsense, and insert your adsense codes throughout your blog - then you can get started tracking how that is going. I’ll put together a short video on this in the next few days - and we can go from there.

I Gotta Tell You - Jim Edward’s excellent (and long-standing) blog on Internet Marketing - I’ve been a follower of his work for years.
Court’s Internet Marketing School an excellent blog with Videos, and tutorials, well worth the read.
Yaro Starak’s Entrepreneur’s Journey is well done, includes video tutorials and free eBook.
Grizzly’s How To Make Money Online for Beginners and excellent blog - poorly designed, but still a great read.
Daily Blog Tips a good starting point - mostly themes, plugins and tips on setting up WordPress effectively.
ProSense - an AdSense Ready WordPress Theme to get you started.
